This was more like it – a hard fought battle where the mind games and sledging were as tough as the tackling itself.

Jim played like he had just had a clash of heads and in his dazed state, the coach had told him he was Ronaldo [the smarmy gay git from Man U not the fat boy from Inter] – Jim obviously believed what he had been told and acted the fantasy out. Ultimately, he was the difference between the two sides and remember, if Jim didn’t know what he was doing, then neither did the opposition [or his playing colleagues for that matter].

Also suffering from a clash of heads were Iain & Jamie – Iain’s was prior to the game and the temporary loss of memory ensured the normal bibs were left at home – those red plastic ones are horrible – Iain ‘be safe be seen – wear a helmet next time’ : as for Jamie – I don’t care if you are on my side, don’t get in my way again.
